New Rules for Individual Competitions from Summer 2025.

i. All individual competitions matches will be draw as home and away, with the match to be played at the home venue.
ii. Individual matches can be played at any time between the date of the publication of the fixture and the start of the next round.
iii. It is the responsibility of the home player(s) to agree the date and time of their match with their opponent(s) and to agree this with the venue management.
iv. Match venues may be reversed with the agreement of both players.
v. If there has been no agreement on a date to play, after 3 dates have been proposed by the home team, this matter can be referred to the Competitions Secretary.
The Competitions Secretary may choose to make an informed decision about the match or may choose to refer the issue to Committee.

There are likely to be multiple home draws for any one venue, so actual match dates need to be agreed between players.

Doubles Rules Updates.

The point at which a Team assumes control of the table is now when they take their first shot in a visit (i.e., when the tip of a player’s cue touches the cue ball and not when a player in the team first touches the table).

For all matches.

Excessive slow play is considered unsportsmanlike behaviour and will be dealt with in accordance with paragraph 1 of the Blackball Rules of Play.

25th June 2025, 6:30pm at the Newcome Arms

9th July 2025, 6:30pm at the Newcome Arms

30th July 2025, 6:30pm at the Newcome Arms

20th August 2025, 6:30pm at the Newcome Arms

8th September 2025, 6:30pm at the Newcome Arms

22nd September 2025, 6:30pm at the Newcome Arms

29th September 2025, 6:30pm at the Newcome Arms
